The Odisha Puja Committee is dedicated to creating a universal identity for Odias within the broader Indian community while serving humanity with compassion and purpose. Rooted in the values of Sanatana Dharma, we strive to preserve and promote Odisha’s rich spiritual, cultural, and historical heritage. Through festivals, worship, and community gatherings, we celebrate our traditions, foster interfaith harmony, and strengthen bonds within the Odia and wider Indian diaspora in Canada.

We are committed to building a vibrant, inclusive platform that nurtures all generations. From cultural programs, educational workshops, and youth engagement to senior support, social service, and charitable outreach, our initiatives aim to inspire unity, pride, and service to others. By connecting Odias with the larger Indian and Canadian communities, we ensure our heritage thrives while contributing meaningfully to the diverse cultural fabric of our society.

On behalf of the Board Of Directors, It is with great pride and gratitude that I welcome you to the Odisha Puja Committee (OPC). Established in 2023, OPC was born from a shared vision among a group of passionate and accomplished individuals to create a universal identity for Odias within the broader Indian community, while serving humanity with dedication and compassion. Guided by the timeless values of Sanatana Dharma, we are committed to preserving the rich spiritual, cultural, and historical heritage of Odisha, and fostering unity among diverse communities here in Canada.

In just a short span of time, OPC has grown into a vibrant and active community, thanks to the unwavering support of our Board, volunteers, and well-wishers. From food bank drives and beach clean-up initiatives to programs supporting senior citizens, our members have demonstrated the true spirit of service and togetherness. These humanitarian and charitable efforts reflect the heart of our mission—to inspire pride in our heritage, nurture the next generation, and make a meaningful contribution to the society we live in. Together, we will continue to build bridges, celebrate our traditions, and strengthen the bonds that connect us all.
